2. Pay attention to idiomatic expressions, phrasal verbs, and cultural references, which may not have direct equivalents in the target language. उदाहरणको लागि:
निपात प्रयोग भएका शब्दको सिधा अंग्रेजी अनुवाद मिल्दैन अथवा कम हुन्छ ।
- वाक्य : हामी त हिजो मेलामा गयौं नि ।
अनुवाद: We went to the fair yesterday.त र नि झल्किने अंग्रेजी अनुवाद हुदैन
Let us go to watch the cinema today.माथि दिएको वाक्यको सन्दर्भमा (given context) ‘let us’ को अनुवाद निकाल्न अप्ठ्यरो हुन्छ |
Translation: आज हामी सिनेमा हेर्न जाउँ ।
OR: आउ आज हामी सिनेमा हेर्न जाउँ ।
Sentence: Let us play.
Translation: हामीलाई खेल्न देऊ ।
Or आउ हामी खेलौँथप उदाहरणको लागि उखान टुक्का/Idioms अनुवाद गर्दा:
Sentence: Tit for Tat.
Translation: जस्तालाई त्यस्तै ।

He asked Birbal, “How many crows are there in our kingdom? “Birbal could sense the amusement in the king’s voice and within a few minutes Birbal replied, “My king, there are eighty thousand nine hundred and seventy one crows in our kingdom. “Surprised and amazed, Akbar further tested Birbal, “What if we have more crows?” Birbal replied, “Oh, then the crows from the other kingdom must be visiting us.” “What if there are lesser crows?” asked Akbar. “Well, then some of our crows must be visiting other kingdoms”, replied Birbal with a grin on his face.
